Dr Wright-Crowe attended the University of California at San Diego earning a Bachelor of Science in Mammalian Physiology. He went on to attend the University of California, Berkeley where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and his Doctor of Optometry Degree. While at Cal, he c-authored research for a new medical device.  He was selected to complete a residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at the University Eye Institute at the University of Houston.. He is licensed as a Glaucoma Specialist and has an extensive background in treating medical eye disease. Dr. Wright-Crowe is a member of state and local professional societies. He has worked extensively in the community supporting and volunteering at the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless, the Texas NeuroRehab Center, Travis County Juvenile Detention Center, Houston Head Start,  and others. Dr Wright-Crowe has also co-led various volunteer medical missions to Latin America. He is a father and enjoys family time, traveling, fútbol, geopolitics, and learning different languages.
